I just purchased a Neumann KMS 105. I'm using the presets in the Tonematch 1 and notice that they are pretty much flat on the eq. Is anyone else using the KMS 105 that can offer up the best way to get that all elusive silky, smooth sound. Regret to inform all that my old "coot" voice needs all the help it can get. Thanks.

The Zeq is yours to adjust -low, mid and high. Your settings would be different from mine and will be different for you from room to room. Picking the tonematch setting just optimizes the frequencies that you get to adjust - based upon the characteristics of the particular instrument or mic.

I like the enCore 300 very much. Worlds better than the Beta 87a that I had been using. For the money - it has to be one of the best buys out there.
