Preset 01 is great but you can also try
15, 17, 18

We have some recommendations about that from to Sennheiser owners.

sorry for using this older thread but I have two Seinheissers, the 835 and the 845. Can anyone explain the differences between the two and whether either is likely to be better for resisting feedback?

My band uses both e835 & e845. The e835 has a cardiod pick up pattern and the e845 has a super-cardiod pickup pattern.

We find that the e835 sounds better with male voices and I use the e845(female voice).

When we used a dinosoaur PA system we had to carefully place microphones in relation to monitors so that the sensitive part of the pickup faced away from the monitor.

We dont do that anymore now we have L1's. They just dont feed back. We find there is no difference between the e835 & e845 in feedback rejection with the L1's.
