Hi Folks,

does anyone have any experience of using a Crown CM200A microphone with an L1 system? I have a MkII but any advice would be welcome. The mic is built for close singing and would therefore seem to be suited to the L1 approach. I'm just wondering whether to go and try one - but thought I'd ask for your experience first.

I can now answer my own question! I got to try a CM200A with my LI MkII and T1 and B1. It sounded good but in truth was no better than my AKG C1000 so I'm going to stick with my AKG.

However I have to say that the UK distributors for Crown were super in their customer service and very helpful - none of their local dealers had one and the distributors sorted out a demo for me.
