What wireless handheld mic would you recommend.
We are looking to purchase one and want it to work well with the L1.

Hi:

I have little experience with wireless microphones, other than what some folks on this forum have suggested, and listening to musicians who use them, so I can't state definitively what would be a good microphone (especially since individual tastes differ). However, a good way to start might be for you to decide what wired microphone you enjoy using, then try out a wireless version of it.

There are some posts that discuss wireless microphones in some depth. A forum search should find them for you.

Here's a link to some forum posts that will hopefully help you get started:

Good luck,

Hi Cliff,

I have no problems with a Shure Beta 58 UHF system. If you like the sound of a Beta 58 then this will do it for you! Cheers, Andy

Hi Cliff!

I picked up a used version of the PGX24/SM58 Shure wireless system from eBay last year and it has worked flawlessly for me through an L1 Classic system. I used the Shure SM58 Preset on the L1 Classic with it and everything was golden! I only have the need to use it occasionally though. I can't really address whether it would satisfy your needs or not. It certainly works for me and I would recommend it to anyone with a general need for a wireless microphone. Easy to setup and operate. Battery life is good. Seems to have very good coverage/reception. Have never experienced any "drop outs".

Hope this helps....John
