I didnt know where else to post this. This seemed the most fitting at the time.

I am a solo act here in south Florida. Mostly electric guitar, vocals, with trax, playing classic rock, blues, and some country. I would estimate on an average I have been playing 3 gigs each week.

Since the word has gotten out around the area that I am using the PAS and how great the sound is, a good handful of club owners/managers have made it a point to come listen. Well, I am happy to say that as of this last week, I have to make decisions as to which gig offers I need to turn down because my calendar is on the brink of being FULL!
The three things that each of these owner/managers have commented on are:
1) How GOOD the sound is;
2) How well the sound is heard at all points in the room,
3) It sounds great and it doesn't have to be too loud.
The advantage to the club itself is obvious. I am there, Im performing, but Im not intruding on or irritating customers with volume and poor sound quality. In fact, customers have regularly commented on how pleasant the music experience is now, with the Bose on the job.

The bottom line here is, The Bose PAS is getting me jobs. Those who hire the performers love this system. My performance is essentially the same, the output has changed. I am looking right now at 7 gigs in each 6 days. If it were not for my day job as an mfg. engineer, I'm sure I could have more gigs available.
Thanks BOSE! My hats off to you guys AGAIN for such an outstanding product! I mean that!

Hi Corona Steve,

I'll be in Florida the last week in April. Do you ever play in or around Miami/South Beach? I looked at your website but didn't see anything about that week. I'd love to stop by for a listen. Thank you! Cool

I know how those bar owners feel Steve.

I saw an acoustic duo a few weeks ago who were really good, but their vocals thru the single Peavey speaker on a stand out front were way too loud. They had no idea.

Now if they had had a Bose...

Being the nice guy I am, i filled them in.

Venue operators do notice performers who can project their sound clearly and evenly. Ask any bartender/barmaid who has to scream orders to each other what they think about screaming speaker systems? Too loud some places, not loud enough in others, customer complaints, blah, blah, blah...

My neighbor saw a group last night and the 1st words from his mouth was about how loud it was. Not a good 1st impression, ya think?

Heya SteveG
Right now Im playing only in Broward Co.; Ft Lauderdale/Pompano Beach. The gigs I have listed on my site are weekly so on any given week...
Note that the Wed night jam night house band thing, I dont use my PAS. With "guest" musicians coming up and adjusting for their sound and so forth, I have opted to use my Fender. Some of these guys tend to show less than what I call respect for others gear.

Stop by if you can, come up and say Hi if you do!
Thanks,
Corona Steve
