Last night I did an invitation spot at an agency showcase for prospective bookers ,all 10 invited acts were informed that a house engineer would plug them into his system and manage their set.OH NO' say I, my set is eq'd for my p.a.s. and it wont take up any space,so all right then but it's your loss I was told.What was the talking point of the night,the gorgeous girls? the singers? the duo's the brilliant singer/guitarist(moi)NO! it was/is my bloody incredible sound system! that CREAMED a p.a. costing 10x more.Now all the other acts are gagging to get one like it,come on bose give us a bit of exclusivity,like a 2 year wait or a vetting process.Or failing that how about a sales commission,(ive done 8 systems now)and even bought a wave c.d.for home to replace my hi-fi.Maybe we could be called disciples and given special sweat-tops ,yeah sounds good.But you know that.

I'd start by calling it an L1 and not the other "old" name before cornering for free stuff.

Yeah...I'm answering a LOT of questions about the L1 after every show these days too. I got into music to woo women...now it's all about the gear...good grief.

Point big-K,surely the L1 is the pole section,the full rig is the -Personal amplification System.At least this is how it was sold to me.I get as many femail's enquiring about my (equipment)as male's ,but as a victim of a couple of big-D's in the past and the current holder of the title Mrs,being a psychic who knows every woman who even looked at me before I get home,I keep the talk strictly confined to the gear,which I definately do not want to split as part of any claim.
