I recently received a wonderfully gratifying email from a happy L1 customer named Pete. I invited him to join this online community and post his kind words for all to see. He's a very busy guy and preferred to give me permission to post on his behalf, so here you go:


"Chuck: Just wanted to drop you a line and tell you how much I'm loving my new Bose system...

I've been a professional musician for many years and I'm impressed by how much it (L1 Model II) was improved over the original.
The dispersion, the apparent loudness throughout any room, the ease of operation, the compactness....it's the best.

Also, the Tone Match unit is awesome....I literally plugged in and in 20 minutes had my inputs dialed in near perfection. Two hours
later, I was playing to 200 people in a very large convention center, sounding better than ever, loud clean and clear with headroom to
spare....two hours after that, I was playing to a small fine dining restaurant crowd of about 35, and the unit sounded every bit as good...it's really perfect for so many different situations.

The "hot" frequencies I used to experience with my other speakers/setup are non-existent with the L1 system; perfect tonal balance all across the spectrum. Plus, the Tone Match system keeps getting better and better the more I tweak it....and no more "check 1, 2....check 1, 2" after powering up; with everything at the exact same settings from the last performance, now it's perfect silence until the first chord. And (arguably) the best part is, it takes me exactly 5 and a half minutes to set up and be ready to go. What a joy....

I was given your e-mail by my salesman at the Guitar Center in Grand Rapids, Michigan, Peter Fox. He gave it to me in case I had any further questions about the units, but I'm e-mailing to tell you not only do I love the gear, but that he did a great job in informing me throughout the sales process and was a nice guy to boot. Went way above and beyond the call of duty to help me out....

Anyway, I've been a fan of Bose for years....used to use some 802's in a band years ago, and I'm glad to say I'm back in the fold...
