I have a double brain set of Yamaha DTX II Electronic drums. My best setup, prior to receiving the Bose PAS double bass system was a Yamaha XM-68 mixer with a Peavey SP2 enclosure. I was just about to purchase a complete subwoofer system to add to this but a musician friend steered me toward Bose.

I just received the BOSE system and set it up in my music room. I can already tell, after just a few minutes of playing that I will not have to worry about the kick drum distortion that I had in the past, even at uncomfortably high volume.

I have the preset set at 00 at the moment and I have tremendous tunability with the remote control.

I will post another message after I play at an outdoor venue this weekend.

Hi kcolvin,

Glad to hear you are happy with the switch to the L1 "out-of-the-box".
I had to do quite a bit of tweaking to get my TD-12 to sound right thru the L1.
I use the Packlite amp and 4-B1s with my setup and love it.
Two B1s does well too, but 4 just smokes.

Lots of talk about this in the Bose Drums Forum.

Look forward to hearing some gig reports.
