Heh folks !... van loaded, and I'm on my way out the door to my 1st gig with the L1 !!!... I'm super pumped !... will post tomorrow, on what I believe will be an awesome Bose evening !... oh yeah, I spent a couple of hours yesterday, creating two Hercules guitar hangers for the cylinders - these are the locking ones, but which also rotate !... pics to come... ok, off I go
Hi swhoelefp69 - Good luck. By the way there is no such thing as "The Van Is Loaded" when using L1's. Your van is the next thing you will not need. Somewhere in these forums is a picture of Tom Munch's Honda Fit with I think 5 L1's loaded in. Your back will also appreciate your new purchase. Roy
ha !... yeah, your right... I have a Honda Element, and I fit everything in the back compartment, with the rear seats still intact (which I had to stow away, when packing the old Mackie system)...
Well... the gig... I couldn't believe the overall sound... I placed the L1 about 8 ft to my right, about 3 ft back... I had no problem hearing both my guitar and vocals... rich harmonies coming from the Digitech VL 2... I had some "open mic'ers" play a few tunes, which allowed me to walk the rooom to sample the sound... I'm really, REALLY pleased... the L1 was certainly a good choice on my part... it was certainly getting lot's of attention, as I believe I have 1 of only 2 L1's on Prince Edward Island... I've become a Bose L1 Evangelist !... look for more popping up on PEI with my endorsements !... I'm playing 5 more dates this month, and can't wait to experience the Bose again... cheers !

Hi Swhoelefp69
I have a Honda Element also and my Bose Model II 2/bins fits perfect with seats still in! Wife and smile now when we "load" for a gig. We use to groan as we got out the "dolly" to lug the heavy equipment which somehow always got heavier at the end of the night! Good Luck with your Bose......it'sn awesome sound. Did you get any feedback from open mic's?
