Hi Sparks,

WONDERFUL.

Cool tune. Post the lyrics here if you can.

Also, very nice snaky guitar lead.

Any thoughts of adding a harmony voice to this?

Also, welcome to this community!

What's your L1™ story???

Thanks for the encouragement. TC & I have a CD link on that video description page. We do have harmony on the CD. Unfortunately, TC was performing @ the Monterey Pops Festival and on the "Summer of Love" tour. He is the 2nd voice on that song. (OK, I'm the 2nd voice, he's the 1st)
As to my story, I will try to get to that. I did learn of the PAS System online before it's initial release and I bought my 1st system the 1st month it was out(2005?). I have never gone back. When I 1st used it, I had trouble giving up my old ways and I tried hooking up compressors, eqs,etc.... I learned quickly that 100% acceptance of the "Bose format" delivers complete satisfaction. I just received the "tonematch" module & yup, I'm gonna get a second one this week. It is the absolutely the way to go. Also, for the drums, I purchased the "packlite" and we use 4 subs w/ a sennheiser e602 mike for the kick. (Any thoughts on what is the better choice for the overhead? - I use a c-3000 now) The "tonematch", w/ some of the shaping & effects got rid of the garage band sound for the acoustic drums. The video post is before the "tonematch". I will post more video of our shows this weekend. From the Bose admins., please offer any technical advise on our setup, if you notice anything.
Thanks for your time,
Ken

Ken-at-Bose,
I have used the PAS since the beginning. In Spring of 2004, we performed in Silvia (sic?) Mass. and were fortunated to use 4 PAS's provided by an employee of Bose. Was cool, but they did not yet know how to maximize the presets etc.at the time, neither did I. We have located a third L1 and looks like we will own it.
Now, I would like to know if I can call and discuss issues w/ someone @ Bose. I feel if I can begin a dialogue w/ an expert, we could sound dynomite. Let me know how, thankx for your time.

Hi Sparks,

Thanks for filling us in.

As far as experts, this is the place! Ask away.

You can also call our tech support line: 877/335-2673. Bose musicians staff the line.

FWIW ... we launched the first generation systems October 15, 2003. Hard to believe we are coming up on 4 years.

Hey Ken-at-Bose,
Ken here. I discussed issues w/ Kevin-at-Bose today and received excellent advice and I cleared up many items. This Saturday I have an important acoustic gig (Back to School Beer & Wine Sale) w/ a multi-champion fiddler @ Galax Fiddler's Convention. I plan to utilize Kevin's extensive input and I plan to upload the result next week. Wish me luck!
Thanks for your time,
esparka
