(Stick with me on this) I was reading an article about cars and the author was trying to cleverly weave famous quotes into his comparison test of two cars. But each quote I read seemed to more appropriately apply to Bose, the L1 and the inventors thereof.

If I may list the quotes here:

"There is nothing more difficult to take in hand, more periolous to conduct, or more uncertain in its successs than to take the lead in the introduction of a new order to things." - Niccolo Machiavelli

"The most dangerous phrase in the language is, 'We've always done it this way.'" - Rear Admiral Grace M. Hopper, U.S. Navy

"Talent is a target no one else can hit; Genius is a target no one else could see." - Arthur Schopenhauer [Will the real Cliff Hendrickson please rise?]

"What is a cinic? A man who knows the price of everyting and the value of nothing." - Oscar Wilde

I have some thoughts, but I'll let others chime in with their own. I believe some real parallels can be drawn between these quotes and the journey Bose has taken to bring us (what used to be) the New Approach.

That Oscar Wilde one has always been one of my favorites.

Here's another one from Oscar that also relates to the Bose system in a slightly different way:

"I can resist everything but temptation".

I seem to suffer from that one quite a bit !
