My local store doesn't have any in stock or a display now either, & they thought they wouldn't be getting the new display from corporate as well.

I was lucky enough to score one in Clearwater, Fl. That makes 3 now. Life & music is good.

Hey there,

Every Guitar Center has at least one Model II on display ... or the should. Which store was it that you were in (what town)? We'll get over there right away and see what's going on. They are in "Strat Pack" mode right now and may have moved it out back for a few hours to make moving boxes around the store easier. Who knows, but GC's committment to the L1 system is stronger than ever. We feel fortunate.

Steve

PS Speak with your local GC store about the demo stock sale.
PPS Oh, and thanks for your 3rd system purchase! That's cool.

I would not have believed that to be true, I'll bet you're a happy camper, thanks for the info.

Steve, great new look!

The GC I shop at in Lakeland, Florida used to have the L1 set up in their acoustic guitar room; luckily I heard it there with a Taylor plugged in. That was a couple of years ago (had to save up!)

But some time ago they removed that system from the acoustic room, and now have a system set up, just for visual purposes, next to the doorway from the main room to the audio area. I assume it works, but it certainly isn't set up for demos or anything. For awhile, they didn't have one set up at all.

As I said, I luckily had already heard one and was sold. When the time came, I bought one. This is a smaller GC, I believe, and I know space is at a premium. Very nice sales people, BTW. Cool

My GC doesn't have any in stock either. So, I need to drive down to LA to see if there are any.

To be fair & update my previous post about guitar center.
The Springfield NJ store has two L1's.One in the high end acoustic guitar room & the other one in plain view as you enter the recording/keyboard/lighting/Pa section.A keyboard is connected to this one and is played often by customers as they pass by it.The L1 B1's are on a custom wheeled dolly with a tubular blue light in back of the L1.
Good job Bose..Its a nice set up.

my steel pan player got the L1 and two B1s for 60% off the price of just the L1. No cables, no bags.
Seems Hudsons had bought out a guitar center fire sale container.

I picked up a 2nd B1 and a rock n roller cart for the sale 60% off.

A week later they only had a pair of L1s and they looked like they had been rolled down a mountain.
