My name is Shadowman (not real), and I'm a Bose L1 system addict.
I scored my first package in Jan 05 and have been hooked ever since.
Old friends thought I was using it as a crutch; to make me feel better about myself,
but I think I perform better when I use it. I started off using small doses, thinking,
as many others have probably done, that i could handle it, and use it only recreationally.
But my dependency has grown ever stronger each passing month.
Now I have to have it almost every day or night of the week...sometimes twice in the same day.
Then suddenly, last week, one wasn't enough any more. I had to have another.

I just scored my second L1/2B1 system.
My name is Shadowman, and I'm a Bose L1 system addict.

Me, too.

Everywhere I go that I hear amplified music, I'm constantly comparing that experience to the "addictive" sound that the L1 can provide.

I'm afraid Eek -- I might be in danger of turning into a pusher, not just a user! Red Face

Shadow, that's funny!

And it gets worse.
Wait til you start having to just go look at it...
all set up in your living room, every morning.

You mean everybody doesn't leave theirs set up? Mine does and I not only see it every morning, I manage at least a half-hour using it before work.
Guess you could say that I leave the house each morning "under the influence."

weasel,

I'm the same way, I have one set up at home that I see every morning on my way out. Then I arrive at work and I have one set up near my desk ... with a guitar hanging from it. I'm under the influence all day! Razz

I'm much the same way. I always have at least one setup and ready to go. Even when I'm playing my acoustic, I love to plug it in and hear the whole room fill with sound.

When I got my second L1, I was keeping it setup all the time too. But lately I've taken to having one setup, and one packed and ready to go. I feel like a L1 boy scout!
