I have an outside storage area were I put mine. I am in the south. Lots of humidity. I keep a fan running 24/7 just to move air and it helps with mositure. I have never had a problem.

Hi Cletus McDuff,

Are you concerned about temperature (winter's coming).

"The system has been tested to operate in 32°F to 122°F (0°C to 50°C) temperatures; it can also be stored in -22°F to 158°F (-30°C to 70°C) temperatures."

Yes, weather mainly. I live in Mid-Mo and feel all the seasonal changes.

We are moving and the garage is upstairs and the studio will be down stairs. I don't use the L1 for the studio just store it there between gigs.

Now I will be storing it in the main level garage of the new house and I do not know if it is climate controlled.

I guess off season I could store it downstairs. I just want to save my back. Dang, gravity!

I think for many items, storage temp is not as big an issue as a changing enviroment.

If the L1 is warm from use, goes to a warmed up vehicle and then is unloaded into a freezing temp garage there is the chance for condensation, and various bad things that can go with it. The reverse can also contribute to unwanted moisture in the electronics.

If moving from one enviroment to another where the temp difference is extreme I would do what I could to make the transition not so shocking. Maybe let it cool slowly overnight in the car, before unloading it.

Keep the cover on during transition from one temp to another.

Make sure the cover or padding in the cover does not collect or hold moisture from the air or other sources.

Do not store for long periods in unheated spaces. If you are not gigging, setup and rehearse occasionally.

O..

I keep mine in our garage. It stays set up and stored when not in use and we rehearse in the garage. I've had it out there in the dead of very cold winter with no problems.

Well I believe I will be investing in a small climate controlled, bullet proofed, cement encased, 8'x6' 2" steel insulated shed just for my L1, B1, T1 with a 7-bolt locking system equipped with laser alarms insideSmile

I will keep the Bose in both the garage and basement of the new house.
