I'm a jazz piano player and I am usually forced to use a synth on the gig (they don't have Steinways in EVERY club, unfortunately.) I'm reading about this new Bose system and I think it would be great. But being a jazz player, I play with different people almost every gig. I know that if I bought this system, not all the people in the band would have one. To tell the truth, I would probably being the only one using it, and the rest of the band would be doing whatever they do normally.
So, is it worth it for me to buy this? Or is it just not going to work?
If you are like the musicians that are already using this, and the musicians that participated in our musical-performance tests over the past five years, you will experience a quantum improvement in your sound. And, that improvement will be enjoyed by the other folks on the bandstand, and by your audience. This alone constitutes a major advancement, so yes, you can be the only one with the system.
To the extent that the other players use the Personalized Amplification System(tm) approach, these benefits increase geometrically. According to musicians who have tried the system, and their audiences, there is nothing like the effect of having each instrument coming from it's propoer position on stage, and having everyone hear everyone clearly both on stage and in the audience.
I have two recommendations. Try it. We are offering a special 90-day trial. Second, see if you can at least get a few of your regular gigs to try a full system.
