My wife Raven Cooper plays solo gigs down in key west. She plays outside at the Ocean Key Resort thur-sun and at Little Palm Island a resort for the filthy rich on mondays and several times a month at Sloppy Joes. I have to set her up and breakdown and transport everynight so this thing sure looks interesting. At Little Palm Island people dine on the beach 100 feet away but some people sit 10 feet away Im concerned about the throw. At sloppy joes its 80 feet to the back of the place and noisy. At the Ocean Key we are next to Mallory Square and like to project the music over ther to attract people. I just bought a yorkville system a couple of months ago wish you had it out then.

Outputs for a cd recorder or tape recorder?

Outputs to run to a house system not individual line outs but a total mix out? I like the fact that it has individual channels outs i just bought a korg digital multi track and the yorkville pa i bought doesnt have channel outs but i have to send a mix to seperate pa speakers that go down the pier at the Ocean Key and that go to a pool dining area at Little Palm Island.

Im a carpenter who restores antique cars now i have to learn to be a soundman my wife who just turned 21 was a drummer i forced her to play guitar so i have to do all the research she just gets up and plays.

Is there a manual online that i can see the outputs and such?

I would love to go up to coco beach and see them being used but she only has one day off a week and its a 12 hour round trip.

I just bought her a godin acs guitar and a roland vg-88 guitar synth, and a complete yorkville pa system. So im being tight with cash with christmas coming. Im going to go read the great sounding return policy information now. And try it to see how fast i can get my money back if its not right for us.

Some answers
1. 4 inputs, 2 are mic/line with phantom and preset EQ for popular mics, very attractive vocal sound with standard PA mics. CH 1 and 2 have line out, balanced XLR, pre EQ and presets so you get a totally dry out for recording or send.

2. Projection is unlike anything you have tried. Sound field falls off so much more gradually than anything including (and especially) up close. So, Raven will hear what her audience hears and be able to change her show based on what she hears. The artist runs their own show (what a concept). This is the first time in amplified music that this was ever possible. You will love the VG88 thru this system and so will the listeners. It really works, this is not hype.

3. Go to the Bose.com website and look under products for musicians for the full skinny. This system is plug and play. YOu have done all the research you need to by getting to this site.

I'm half-kidding. I'm in one of the bands that Bose is calling "Pioneers." Just so you don't think that I have any alterior motives, I get absolutely no advantage or bonus from Bose for talking up the system. They told us to do one, simple thing -- get out there and make great music, using this new equipment as it's designed to be used, and if anybody asks about it tell them what we honestly think.

We honestly think it's awesome, and from your description of your act I think you'll love it too. And, we honestly think that playing in Key West would be a blast.

Are the only outputs the 2 dry line outs from channels 1 and 2 ? I will go to your website to check out the band. Im sure i can help getting you a gig down here Sloppyjoes is tuff they only do bands for a full week top40 rock crap. But Virgillos and the green parrot and schnoor whaft do weekends but they dont pay bands much down here. I will go to your website and get your mailing address and send you some of my wifes music.
