Man, the T1 really saved me during a rehearsal. I needed to plug in my guitar to hear the effects when not using a L Model II. It worked very well. I plugged in the PRS McCarthy, a Beta58A, and a Radio Shack mic and ran them through the T1 and a Roland Jazz Chorus 120 guitar amp.
Now, it didn't sound any where near as good as with a LI or LII, but it served its purpose. There were no glitches, since I was able to use the high gain mic for the Radio Shack mic. The small mixer does well as a solo act. I thank you again, since the T1 is lighter than the Alesis 4 input. --Jazbo |

Hi Jazbo
I'm glad to hear it works well in that situation. I am hoping to try this in the studio when my T1 arrives. When you ordered your T1/2 L1MII did you order the T1 power supply or did it come with? Rick |

Oh. Reading the manual I see that you don’t need the power adaptor you can power the T1 with the USB port from a computer.
Is that what you did? |

Hi Rick,
I'm reading page 2 in the manual a little differently I think.
It looks like we *must* have the Power Supply to use th USB port. ie. no power from the port. T1 ToneMatch™ Audio Engine Owner's Guide |

Thanks ST
I was just about to delete that message. You are right. I misread that piece. My apologies. Rick |

Hi Rick.
I misread it twice the first and second times I read the manual. No need to apologize. It is a good question - and I will be adding it to the T1™ FAQ page. |
