Greetings everyone. New owner of PAS - L1/B1 here. Thought I'd drop by, say hello, and join the message boards. After lurking and planning and wondering for about a year, I finally ordered it. Well, I unpacked the equipment yesterday as UPS drove away, and before long I was wishing I'd taken the plunge sooner. I was blown away with the whole experience. I like Bose products, so I was expecting to be pleased. I'm an older musician and have been playing on stage for many years. But I was truly excited by what I heard, and the ease of start up. Everything works just fine and sounds great. Yesterday I only had time to play our Wave Radio throught it a bit and hook up an SM58 and try that out...but tonight I'll start exploring some other possibilities.

I'm really not a trained sound engineer, so I know I'm going to have questions for the forums soon. But for now I'm just searching and reading the message boards for information and to become familiar with what is already written. I'm sure that soon I'll be needing some help from the community here. And I'm sure it won't be long. Smile

Hello again to everyone. I'm looking forward to getting to know some of you...and getting to know my new PAS.

Thanks for the welcomes. Glad to be aboard.

I play harmonica, sing, and play some trombone in a couple of different types of groups here in Southwest Kansas. Been doing it for about 12 years regularly. We have a regional rock group of musicians around the age of 50 that has been around for a long time. In the grand scheme of things, we're nothing special, but we are good musicians, we have a very solid reputation regionally...and we have a ton of fun.

I do some singing in church and in a duo with a singer/guitar player.

Love my harps; and looking forward to experimenting with them on this rig. I play mostly through a Fender Blues Junior or a silver-face Princeton Reverb (with or without tube-swaps)using a Green Bullet, Astatic or a vintage EV mic I picked up along the way... but have been known to simply play through the PA with a good ol' SM58. I'll probably experiment with a POD 2.0 and a Memory Man, and an old Silvertone amp as well...sooner or later. Looking forward to it.

I'm scouring the boards right now looking for tips on how to set up the duo... two vocals (SM58's), harp and guitar. That said, I'm just having a blast experimenting with the PAS.

Again thanks so much for the welcome. One thing that I've already noticed here: people are friendly, helpful, and very civil. Kudos to all of you. This should be fun.
