At the advice of other forum members, I am shifting my thread regarding a SE conference to here.
Not sure what all is involved, cause I'm still a newbie to this forum, but if a Southeastern conference is something you'd be up for, perhaps you should post something here for the Bose people to notice...

Oh, yeah, absolutely. It appears to have been pretty quiet, conference-talk-wise, so if nothing is being discussed by others "incognito", then this is a good place to keep the talks going. And don't be afraid (not that you are, mind you) to take the initiative and run with it, yourself.
I'm unable to 'run' with anything at this time..but I'm watching with interest. I LOVED the conference up at the Bose Bat-Cave, and I'd be thrilled to take part in another one closer to home - I'm here in East Tennessee keepin' an ear/eye open.
I wonder if there's a good spot just outside of Atlanta - sure is an ez place to fly into. ( and only 4 hours drive for me <G> )
A few people have brought up Jacksonville. That sounds pretty good, closer for non-Florida folks than Tampa or Orlando which has a good base of L1 users, but is probably to busy and tourist heavy.
Anyway, I'm interested in seeing how this plays out.
Just adding my voice to the chorus of folks interested in a south east conference. Not sure if I can run with it, but I'd consider collaborating. Only problem is I'm probably not south enough as I am in the DC area. (near the Blue Ridge Mountains or, as Coloradoans(?) might call them, "foot hills".

Actually, I haven't the foggiest what's involved. But I'm self employed, and have time to do this, once I find out what all is required. I am a newbie, afterall
Seriously, if I can do it, I will just need some criteria/guidelines/input from y'all.

To be self-employed is a marvelous thing, indeed. Finding the balance between fun, self-employed work, and fun, Bose Conference planning is difficult.
When I suggest you run with it, I just mean lead the discussion. You've kind of done that already. The rest will begin to fall into place and you'll "learn" very quickly. The best thing about these is that they each stand on their own, so there is never a worry about trying to "replicate" a previous experience. Sure there are point similarities, but the experiences and strengths of each are completely different. Bring your own vibe!
Harder for Tres to organize, but I am voting for some place a little farther north than Florida. Georgia? "Carolina in the Pines?"
or...
The Colonel and O could hook up to host in Kentucky! - The only place I have ever heard Carrie say she would like to live (if not here at home...where the heart is ).
Okay, selfishly, I am thinking about driving distance...
I agree with Drumr that anywhere is alright....BUT..... N. VA. is a long away for people in South Florida, Miami, Tampa etc. I think somewhere central like Atlanta would be better choice. Another idea is if Bose could look at the sales records and see where the systems are being used. I know there are a lot of users in Hilton Head S.C. etc. Another idea is to have more of these spread out just everywhere. West, North, South, East, Midwest, Midil Atlantic, you get the idea. You guy's at Bose are smart. You must get a per diem so let's go.
