Twice through total. Vocal first time. Second time piano or other lead until bridge. Vocal back in and sung out to end. Usually feel the ending with the new trio.

Stand by...

Hi, Tom,

I've run through this several times, and I can't seem to make those changes work. Not sure if I'm missing something with the rhythm, or 1 or 2 of the chords just aren't quite right. In any case (to a non-player, aka, "me"), it looks easier to play in C, too. While Bf is better vocally, a bit higher is okay, too.

ll C l E7 l F l Bm E7 l
l Am l D7 l Dm G7 l C G7 ll
ll C l E7 l F l Bm E7 l
l Am l D7 l Dm G7 l C ll

(bridge)
ll C7 l Gm C7 l F l F l
l D7 l Am D7 l G7 l Dm G7 ll

ll C l E7 l F l Bm E7 l
l Am l D7 l Dm G7 l C (G7) ll

I'll go through your changes when I get off the road today. I think mine are off the original sheet music, so they could be different from the standard fake book arrangement. I'll check a couple of those too.

You're the singer, so we'll follow the way that you want to do it.

Well, I went through it again and found it to be fine. I was thrown by the incidentals. Once I got the phrasing correct, though, I saw how it all fit.

Disregard my previous concern and suggested change to C. We'll go with what you gave me for Bf.

Thank you!

Nathan,

Good enough. We're all set then.

Now to all the other details that need to be taken care of. Smile

Tom
