AGWeinberger Band is a 4 piece band.
Playing blues/rock/soul/jazz/crossover Performing in clubs, mid size theathers (400-500 seaters), festivals, private events for audiences of from 100 to 5000 seats Show type: concerts, festivals, tv shows, private and corporate events Using the L1® System since May 2008 Geographic location: Bucharest, Romania Bose L1® equipment 5 L1 model 2, 14 subwoofers Comments about the L1® System The L1 is a Dream System!!! We played 38 shows across Romania in mid size venues (200-500 seats) for the past 4 month. The L1 did an amazing job for us. I never heard that smooth and velvet sound for the drums as we have it now with the L1... We only used on 2 occasions (in the 500 seaters) a little PA (mackie active monitors and EV woofers) just to push a little the sound toward the venue... We are a 4 piece blues/soul/rock/jazz band. You can hear the system on these footages: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3szOK2LR3qo&feature=related http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uy3doMEniQg&feature=related The system gave us a great deal of independence and made it much easier to book the shows for us. The L1 means business... that for sure! Web Site: AGWeinberger - The Transylvanian Guitar Man The Players AG Weinberger: guitar and vocals. Sorin Petrila: guitar and vocals. Vlad Spatar: bass and vocals. Miki Orban: drums ![]() |

Hi agw65,
Thanks for using The Sketcher! Here is your Sketch. -- click image to make changes to the live version -- Legend L1® Model II T1 ToneMatch® audio engine Orange numbers are Systems and Inputs using those Systems. Blue filled numbers are Channel connections to/from the T1 ToneMatch® audio engine. Green numbers are for general notes about the Sketch and connections to non-Bose gear. |

Hi agw65,
Really enjoyed your video clips...great sound! So nice to see bands using the L1s in the way they were designed. |

Ditto that. What a treat it must be to have the units so far behind you. Seems the perfect distance, and yeah that's a great picture and stage. How cool it is to see the drums so far front, too! |

AG,
Please tell us more about your set-up. Since you have 5 systems and 4 pieces, what do you have plugged in where? Looks like from the Sketch that maybe the bass is using two systems, but that would leave the drums with only 2 B1's. How are you doing it? Thanks! BBE |

Hello guys,
Thanks for your kind thoughts and genuine curiosity... Since I purchased the systems in May 2008, we are in heaven After several weeks of tryouts, we came up with pretty lucrative setup. We mixed up the inputs between the 5 systems - we are not using it quiet according to the manual For instance we put the 2 over head mics in the 2 external systems (far left and far right) along with the backing vocals and the second guitar. We put the lead vocal in the 2 systems right behind me together with the lead guitar. The drums and the bass we have in the 2 systems behind the drummer and the bass player. We still have one input left for the ipod - we are providing ambiental music and self promotional material while the audience is taking the seats. Basically this is it... it works great for us. If we are playing larger venues - such as those old communist build culture centers (700-900 seats) we are using for a little extra push a small 2 piece PA (15" sub and a compact 12" top). It works great as well for us... Although I'm thinking to get the 802 Deluxe Package for this purpose... If you have any question furthermore and if I can be of any help regarding the system, please let me know. Best thoughts and thanks again for kindness... ag |

Hello everybody,
Greetings from Bucharest. We are playing a lot, despite the so called economical crisis. Having the Bose L1 with us, we gained total independance from additional production costs of the shows. Therefore talent buyers are much easy to convince to hire us for their events. Here is a sample of how well the system works in a midsize (280 seates) theather. Thanks again for this breakthrough approach ! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v...feature=subscription Best thoughts, AGWeinberger - The Transylanian Guitar Man |
