Birdie Ditches had its birth as a group of musicians who sat in a circle and did improvisational jam sessions with dozens of musicians over the course of 3 years. After struggling with too many guitars and too much noise, and the desire to have some vocals, Dave purchased a Bose L1 Model 2 and a few mics to get the vocals into a more prominent position in the circle. That one purchase accellerated the desire to strip down the jam to its essence, create an ensemble sound, and bring the music to the masses.
I hope this link works and embeds properly. Thanks Bose for getting us out of the circle and into the air.

Green numbers are for general notes about the Sketch and connections to non-Bose gear.

Quoting DaveyCrocket from The Sketcher

1 Shure Beta 87a into Digitech Vocalist Live 4 Guitar Patched Thru VL 4 to Line 6 Pod X3 Live
2 Shure SM 58 into T1 channel 2
3 Shure Beta 87a into T1 channel 3
4 Pod X3 live fed from the "Guitar Thru" of VL4 into T1 chanel 4... VL4 output fed to T1 Channel 1 with guitar levels set to 0, This bypasses the guitar effects of the VL4 and separates the guitar and vocals on the T1. I Sometimes switch to an acoustic electric Alvarez, and like the Chorus on the VL4, so I mute the Pod, and simply adjust the guitar volume level of the VL4
5 Roland DR 880 Drum machine with guitar effects running a crunch amp model for the Harp mic 1/4in connector thru Behringer Mixer then to T1 channel 5
6; Guitar Tube pre-amp into Behringer Mixer then to T1 channel 5
7. Stagg Electric Upright Bass into Behringer Mixer then to T1 channel 5
8. Roland TD 3 V Drums into Behringer Mixer

The L1 Model 2 with 2 B1 and T1
Things are a little crowded from the cabling standpoint, but sounds great...we don't play "stupid" loud, so everything seems to come through clear and uncluttered.

Hi Davey Crocket,

Sorry - this site does not support HTML code within posts.

It would be great to include links to your reverbnation site and you can add a photo as an attachment.
