That's What She Said is a 5 piece band.
Occasionally we have a saxaphonist sit in, we mic him with a 58 and through channel 2 of singer's T1

Playing a variety of covers (Jackson 5 to Maroon 5, Blues to Pink)

Performing in All around DFW (Gezellig, Barley House, Sherlocks, private parties) for audiences of 150-400
Show type: Party music- People drink, we play, it's fun

Using the L1® System since August 2008

Geographic location: Dallas/Ft.Worth Texas, USA

Notes about That's What She Said
A strong mix of old R&B to today's hits to classic rock to modern alternative

Bose L1® equipment
L1 Model II (x2), L1 Model I, L1 Classic, 3 T1, 10 B1, A1 PackLite Amp, T1 Mic Stand adapters

Comments about the L1® System
The usual initial resistance (bass player swore by his amp, guitarist wanted his "tone" from 4x12, "is it loud enough??") quickly faded into the usual path of bass plugged into L1 directly, guitarist shrank his rig to blend better (and be heard against what band was doing), and nothing but compliments on volume at gigs.

Web Site: That's What She Said Myspace

The Players
Erik Peterson: Lead/Rhythm Guitar
Georgia Peterson: Singer and vocals.
Greg Werchen: Bass and vocals.
Jeff Brigman: Drums and vocals.
Kyle Harris: Rhythm, Lead, Acoustic Guitars and vocals.

Band sounds good! I love the way your singer injects Janis into Piece of my Heart but has her own style.

Thanks. She originally rejected the song but then found her own way with it.

Those recording were done in our rehearsal studio, single take, no overdubs, straight out of the individual channel outputs of the T1's or L1 Model I power stands, into a digital audio workstation. We mixed a bit to compensate for bleed through and some anomalies, but what you hear is what we sound like live (only a gig or so in).

Actually, that's not fair, because our other guitar player and our vocalist couldn't get it out of their heads that we were recording, so they stiffened up more than usual. Our bass player and I went nuts, so we're responsible for some of the errors here and there (wrong notes during "Baracuda" for instance).

But a nice example of using the systems to achieve another level of awareness of how your band is progressing. The more we've recorded, the more we've improved. Though, sometimes, it's hard to listen to any recording the first time through.
