Hi all,
With many regrets it doesn't look like I will be able to make the trip for the fall conference. Between travel for my day job, just moving into a new house, and the holiday gig season starting to kick in, I just can't break away even for a few days. (My family wouldn't mind seeing me once in awhile too!) Please send some of the vibe my way and keep me posted on the next one.
I'm looking forward to reading all about it on the forum soon.

Thanks all. I'll miss you guys too! Give me enough lead time on the next one and maybe I can come up with some special edition conference "Groove Shades". If we do it in Colorado, I may be able to bring the whole Groove Merchant horn section too. How many beachballs do you need ST?

Unfortunately, I too will not be able to make it. Some resources changes have just occurred at my job, and I'm one of the few people being kept on. So instead of 6 of us, there will be 3 by the end of the month, and I won't have the coverage I thought.

I'm bummed, but I'm sure there will be another chance. Have fun everybody....

Nick Ward, our amazing stage tech for The Lineman, will be with us on Sunday and Monday.

Nick's the best L1™ stage tech I've ever worked with. He's passionate about the technology. He's a fine artist and is just finishing his undergraduate work. He lives across the street from our Cliff, and they love cars together.

I'd LOVE it if Nick would help us get the best sound...I'm just a user who has gotten sound I like by mucking around. Independent ears are worth their weight in unobtanium!

BTW...I've talked to my bandmate Charles, and we're planning on getting there earlyish on Sunday to unload gear...that way, systems will be available the whole time.

Sorry I haven't been around for a while... with so many musical late night gigs & myriads of women, afternoons have become the biologically rhythmic equivalent of morning for moi' (okay, okay,,, that's more info then you needed to know...:-)

Can you believe this... my first Friday off all year, happens to be Friday the 13th... !!

The Bose-O's East conference sounds totally wonderful... Once more, ST is so incredibly on top of it... Curriculum has to be his middle name It's an honor to know ya ST... that's for sure!!


As you know by now, there's no way on earth I can make it.... but I will be there in Spirit to the Max!!

That agenda is coming together nicely - but this time around I've just been enjoying from the sidelines as it has taken shape under Ken's gentle guidance.

Ken Brown, a wonderful drummer not too unlike Aaron Stone, and a senior person at Bose helping with executive recruiting, will be joining us on Monday.
