Hi Folks,

I'm so delighted that you will be joining us!

Those that want rooms at the Inn or in the cabins:

YOU MUST CALL THE WARREN CENTER TO MAKE YOUR RESERVATIONS: 1-888-WARREN1 (1-888-927-7361).

For more information about the accommodations, click HERE.

Commuters are welcome so long as they let us know here that they'll be attending in that fashion. You do not need to stay overnight.

An agenda is forming now. We'd like as much input from this community as possible. We'll begin describing the gel next week.

Ken

It's looking like I may be able to come now. A friend has consented to help me with travel on the other end. More later. Yay!! The only thing that would keep me away now would be my mother-in-law's passing - god forbid.

Tom, Dan

This is great!

Be sure to let us know
  • the number in your party,
  • day of your arrival (good to coordinate with others for travel or social).

    - your preferences, a room at the Inn or a bed in a cabin We probably don't need this - you're booking your own rooms

edit - strikeout on room preference

    YAY!!!!!!

    YAY!!!!!!

    YAY!!!!!!

    I AM SO, SO PLEASED!!!

Bizarre as it seems, I think we're going to have plenty of bass players (a good thing). Maybe we should have an electric bass orchestra? Maybe you guys should put something together?

Tom, could you do a few tunes on Sunday night?

Both: Call the Warren Center and book your rooms.

I'd be honored. Maybe I could do "Stairway to Freebird" - or I could let Ron do that one.

ST, I think my singer wants to join us for Mon-Tues, and if there's an opportunity, we'd like to do a couple of tunes with our Protools-made backing trax. I'll be in for Sunday night as well, with my real guitar, maybe throw down with some Flamenco and Brazilian?

    Hi Tom, Ronjazz, others.

We'll start keeping track of live music HERE on the L1™ wiki.

The music is already shaping up to be fabulous. Ron, yes to the Brazilian and Flamenco for Sunday night.

I can bring as many as three systems, one of which is a full extended-bass system with a Packlite. Should I? Would it prove useful? Or will there be enough Bose-supplied gear there to construct any desired system?

I was thinking that bass players who have not had the opportunity to see what the extended bass system with the Packlite (and Line6 modeling, for that matter) is all about might get something useful out of hearing this rig in use.

Well, I've decided for financial reasons to stay with my buddy in Natick, so I won't be crashing with all of you guys. I'll still stay as late as necessary though Smile

I plan on bringing at least one L1 w/ B1, and most of my main instruments (T5, Taylor 414, Uke w/ Pickup, and Mandolin).

I'm in. Just booked a room for Sunday and Monday. The center is only 58 miles from my driveway so that's a bonus. This one almost slipped by me for some reason...been on the run and just missed the posting of the event being scheduled. If the opportunity arises, I would like to perform a song I wrote for all struggling musicians called 'Play Me Stairway to Heaven'.

OK! Count me in for the three days (just one)! I'll be commuting. I'm another bass player (I'll bring my instrument if you want), but I'll be just as happy to sit back and enjoy!

Can't wait to meet you all!
    Best regards,
    The Jester

ST, my singer (Michael Ciulla)wants to join us, and I think he will be a good addition; he's very funny, and does voiceover work, so is very interested in the mic end of things. Also, I've just called and booked a room at the Inn for us Sun-Mon, so I won't be camping out.
