Hello to the Bose community. I'm preparing for my first gig with my new L1 Model II with T1 in a small venue. I'm a solo acoustic guitar/vocal act and I'm unfamiliar, really, with all things technical as it relates to music equipment performance. I need some help setting up my mic's and acoustic guitar with the warm sound I know the L1 can deliver. My first gig is in 7 days and I've been going through the boards and have decided, I don't have enough time to tweak this myself between now and the gig.

So, if there's anyone near Whitewater, WI... perhaps Madison, Milwaukee, or Chicago, I'd be happy to pay you this weekend or one night next week to come to our office in Whitewater for 1 or 2 hours and help me properly set up my system for great sound. I would pay you for your travel time, gas, and time here.

Welcome Troy. I am somewhat like you as far as technology but don't worry you'll love the L1. I use the Singer/Songwriter Preset with the Headset mic and LRBaggs Fingerpicking Guitar preset. All you need to do is plug in your XLR mic into Channel 1 and your Guitar or the mic for the guitar and your good to go. Tell us about your gear. You can tweak the sound depending upon your venue and how you hear yourself. Of course BOSE support is 2nd to none but only you can decide the sound that's right for you. Cheers! Brian
