We're a songwriter duo from Seattle, looking into attending a conference near Boulder, CO the week of August 26, 2007. Looking to borrow one single-bass system for the week.

It would be treated gently, set up indoors, and left in place for the week. The conference is in a remote location so your system will be quite safe.

We'll happily trade you the use of our L1 Classic system next time you are in or near Seattle, WA for a similar length of time.

I would do it for you, but unfortunately I will need my systems during that week. Hopefully some of our other Colorado folks will respond.

Good trade for a good cause---2 Seattle singer-songwriters with an L1 hoping to connect with someone who could loan us their system for the week of Aug 26, '07, so we can do a concert mid-week at the Story Field Conference near Boulder. (We're traveling on a shoestring budget, and it's not practical to fly standby with equipment--though we'll bring our own mics and cables.)

As songwriters, we're concentrating on writing grooving, accessible pop songs that evoke and inspire hope and positive evolution in human hearts and in the world (yet never preachy or fluffy).

Here's the scoop: We're flying in to Denver on Sunday the 26th of August. We have a friend giving us a ride up to the conference center, which I understand is a couple of hours out of Boulder. We'll be ensconced up in the hills until the following Friday the 31st. This idea will only work if someone can part with their system for the week, since it's probably not practical for us to travel in and out of the location during the week.

The "dream" situation is someone in Denver/Boulder with a system that we could pick up on Sunday, then drop back off on Friday on our way home.

We're prepared to do without, and for all I know the conference center probably has some sort of amplification we could use, but we're so addicted to the Bose - it would just be an extremely cool bonus if we could do our thing with Bose-osity!

Looks like you're south of Denver. Maybe you know someone close to our route who might be willing?

I'm hoping to make it an easy thing for someone who has a system they're not using that week anyway, and as I said, we'll certainly do a trade-in-kind if someone visits our neck of the woods.

Well, after all, we're getting mixed messages about whether or not we're actually allowed to have a PA at this place, so I'm just going to withdraw the request for a loaner. Thanks anyways.
