Hello Group I just wanted to post that last month I had my truck broken into and the thieves thought they were getting a laptop computer, but what they took was the case I kept my T1 and ipod and mics and wires in. I was lucky in the way that my whole Bose system model II was also in my truck, but they only took what they could carry. I thought I would post this note just in case someone sees a used T1 for sale as they really are only usable with the the Bose model II without the power supply and they are still very new and different. Anyway keep your eyes out there for me I would really like to get it back and punish those who took it. Thanks Thumper

Hey Thumper, Very sorry to hear about this.
I hope you were insured.

The sad thing is the thieves don't even know what they have, they'll probably sell the T1 for $50.

Update on stolen T1. After a couple of months a friend of mine saw a Bose T1 on Craigslist here in Austin. thinking it could be mine and after contacting the police and after numerous tries to contact this person they finally agreed to meet me last night to sell it to me. Sure enough it was my T1. The police were there and after confirmation that it was actually mine (I had it marked and the serial number with me) handcuffs and took them away. After I filled out my statement they handed my T1 back to me said thank you. Sorry this was so long but I am excited and had to tell you all my story. Thanks Thumper

Congratulations Thumper,

I am glad you had the police with you when you met the seller.

Persistence (and wisdom) won out.

Good for you.
