Nice Post, ST!

The man was a legend among legends. Pioneered and popularised both the electric guitar and multi-track recording! Not to mention being a very prolific musician...

It's impossible to imagine the music world as we know it today without him.

A great documentary Les Paul: Chasing Sound. You can get it on Netflix. Make sure you look at the extras. That is where all of the great performances he did with other artist are. The man was/is a genius.

Saw him at the Iridium club in New York about 10 years ago - took my new guitar that I had bought that day at Mannies along for him to sign.

He did.

It was, of course, a Les Paul.

Rest in peace.
