I am not sure where to put this... Recently I was researching early church literature for a college class that I am teaching. I happened upon a great text for a Christmas song, decided to alter it a bit (more modern phraseology), and wrote some music for it.

I tried to write the music so that it wasn't so Christmas-song-like that it couldn't be used at other times. The timelessness of the text really stuck out to me...
