Hi JubKeys,

Thanks for using The Sketcher!

You had two Sketches that looked identical (did I miss anything) except for the comments. So I consolidated those below. I swapped out references to "PAS" with L1™ because PAS is a trademark owned by another company.

Legend:
Orange numbers are Systems and Inputs using those Systems.
Blue ringed numbers are Channel connections to/from the Classic and Model I Systems.

Green numbers are for general notes about the Sketch and connections to non-Bose gear.

Quoting JubKeys from The Sketcher
quote:
OK, I think this is fairly straightforward. Potential confusion is that I have the guitar plugged
into the guitar amp which then runs through a small mixer to send a 1/4" out to PAS 1, Ch 3. Might run a kick drum through the mixer to PAS 4. The bass guitar and keys both run direct into PAS 2, Ch 3&4.

We're an event band (weddings, private partes) that plays a wide range of stuff from light jazz over dinner to rockin it out for high energy dancing. We usually play for 50-300 people in small-medium-sized venues.

I don't have any PAS speakers at this point but am seriously considering them. I've heard them and done some testing and I'd like to try them on a more ongoing basis. I'm a little worried about some venues with shallow stages though... I'm wondering if this setup, with the PASs tilted toward the center, might allow us to use about the same amount of stage depth as usual and that the drummer could still hear us. He usually likes a monitor pretty closeby. I realize that this might cut out some people in the front corners of the room, but normally they'd be behind the mains anyway!

Hi JubKeys,

I think you will want at least two and maybe four B1s on System

To get to four B1s on a single system you buy a double bass system, as you have shown for system and then you add a PackLite® Extended Bass Package (PackLite® amp + two B1 Bass Modules).

I wouldn't start with anything less than two B1s for a system running Kick Drum, but for classic rock, I think you will end up with four.

I think you have a good handle on routing the signals, placement of the L1™s and turning them toward the middle for monitoring.

The only other thing that comes to mind, is that you may want to try moving the Drummer out from between the two L1™s . If you put the Drums on the side, the Drummer will probably have an easier time hearing him/herself, and you should also find that all the vocalists should be able to hear themselves and each other better.
