Our music ranges from The Eagles, Journey, and disco, to Guns and Roses and Metallica...a little of everything. We play at small to medium sized clubs. I'm wondering what more do we need than what we already have, in terms of a Bose set up, to be able to handle an electronic drum kit or a miked acoustic drum kit, as well as possibly a direct bass guitar.

Hi Reverend Jim, I've started a new discussion for this: Adding Drums and Bass - Reverend Jim. See you there.

This is such a classic layout, I smile just looking at it wondering about your band. Things that would help as far as creating a stage layout just for you: Types of music you play? Where you play (types of venues)? Kinds of events (concerts, bars, outdoors)? Thanks.

Hi Jazzebel, Thanks for using The Sketcher! This is just a quick note to send you a link to your Sketch in case you want to review it, edit it, or share it with others. -- click image to make changes to the live version -- This looks like a Jazz Quartet with one vocalist. Is that correct? How large are your typical venues? Edit: Please post your answers in your discussion you started yesterday Thanks! What kinds of events do you play? I am trying to get a sense of what the audience is doing during your shows. Do you ever mic the Drums? With this little bit more information, I should be able to come up with a stage layout for you.
|
Hi Jazzebel, Here is your latest sketch - I can see now that you were not finished when you save the previous one. -- click image to make changes to the live version -- Please confirm the total number of performers in your ensemble and tell us a little bit about your music. The answers to the earlier questions would also help.
Edit: Please post your answers in your discussion you started yesterday Thanks!

Hi paxflyer, Thanks for using The Sketcher! This is just a quick note to send you a link to your Sketch in case you want to review it, edit it, or share it with others. -- click image to make changes to the live version -- Quoting paxflyer from The Sketcher
Hi paxflyer, It looks like you have four performers on the stage. The Bass uses a pickup, and each performer in the front row is using a mic for his/her instrument, and a mic for vocals. Is that correct? Please tell us about your music and where you play (size of room, audience size, and what the audience is doing while you perform). This will help me to understand how to approach setting your stage. Thanks

Hi paxflyer, I have started a new discussion for you. Please see: Traditional Bluegrass for 4-5 performers - paxflyer Thanks

Hi rock you, Thanks for using The Sketcher! This is just a quick note to send you a link to your Sketch in case you want to review it, edit it, or share it with others. -- click image to make changes to the live version -- I'm not quite understanding what is happening over on the right side of the stage. The red Line6 POD seems not be be connected to anything. It looks like you may have been interrupted. To make changes to the stage layout, just click on the picture above. Make any changes you like and click the "Save Changes" button. In the meantime, how many people are in your band? What kinds of music do you play?

Hi marktec1, Thanks for using The Sketcher! Hi marktec1, This is a pretty generic stage set-up for a band with your instrumentation. Each player has his/her own L1™. If you can tell us more about your band, (music, places, audiences) then we can tailor this for you. -- click image to make changes to the live version -- Codes: Orange numbers are Systems and Inputs using those Systems. Blue ringed numbers are Channels on the Systems. Green numbers are for general notes about the Sketch and connections to non-Bose gear. System 1:
System 2: Drums: Double B1 System plus A1 PackLite ™ Extended Bass Package (A1 + two B1 Bass Modules)
System 3: Bass: Double B1 System plus
System 4: Keyboard
