I bought my PAS a couple of years ago to use with my WX5 and VL rack. In all this time this system has performed beautifully. It has become as much a part of my wind controller setup as the mouthpiece on the WX5; I won’t leave home without my PAS… again.

The other night at the local jam I got lazy and took my Roland KC500 instead of my PAS. I was miserable from the first note, my horn sections sounded cheap and electric, my guitar patches sounded like kazoo. This was noticed by the regulars at the jam too, I was asked, “what’s wrong with your wind controller. The KC500 will go back to being a place for my cat to sleep on, (the cat really likes the KC.)

In all this time I almost never get to play with anyone else with a PAS, but the PAS holds its own against every Marshall, Fender or every other loud guitar amp I‘ve worked with. It’s clean, fill the stage/room and I have never not had enough power to be heard. The system has never failed or ever had any problem what so ever!

I plan to buy a few more B1’s because I took up the bass guitar recently and may as well let the PAS become my first choice for bass guitar as well.

Bose guys, I STILL love my PAS!

Hey Chuck,

Wow! It has been a while. You were an early guy. Nice to hear things are still going well.

Hey Chuck,

It's really good to hear from you again after a while. It sounds like you've been doing well.

I have to ask, because I honestly think I'll learn something here, why did you reach for the KC? I mean, what is it about the KC that made you feel lazy? Or said another way, what makes using the Cylindrical Radiator(r) more work?

Ken

The KC is just one piece, with wheels... the wheels are the best feature of the KC. I'll take the extra couple of minutes to bring the PAS from now on.

Mine is a lefty when I play in a mirror. PAS is the best way to get the real depth and clarity out of the WX5. I blend a few of my modules along with the VLm70 (Patchman chip) and it's the only way you can tell the different instuments/sounds.

Life IS Good... just getting a bit expensive!
