Hi Everyone:

I have an L1 Classic with a T1 Tonematch. I need to play with a click track for my backround music. It is such that I just can't set it to play and play guitar along with it. There are timing issues and so I have to play with a click track. I know I will have to wear In Ear Monitors (Galaxy Any Spot) and will have click tracks from both my macbook and Ipod. I just can't seem to get my mind to work around this one. Any advice would be appreciated, Thanks!

Hi Chumpito,
Welcome to the forums.

I've had good luck with in-ears with the T1.
You can send the click to any channel on the T1, leaving it's volume fader (to master output) OFF.

Plug the in-ears into the Aux out on the T1.
Select Aux on the T1's rotary dial, press the channel edit button for the Click's channel.
Select Prefader on the Aux output, and adjust the volume %age until you hear the click.

To monitor the other channels on the T1, follow the same procedure with each channel, sending it's signal to the Aux output.

The nice thing is that the Aux out will send a signal to both ears of your in-ears, if you need to use both.

The only problem I foresee is if you need to monitor channels from the Classic's Power Stand inputs.
You would only be able to if you have open channels on the T1 that you could send the Classic's outputs into.

I hope this helps.

You're welcome Chumpito.
I'm glad it's working for you.

Is this what you are doing this with your T1?:

1) Vocal
2) Guitar
3)Click->Aux Out only
4/5) Backing trax

I learned about this by running sound for a friend (vocal/gtr/fiddle) who insists on an in-ear (in one ear).
He sat to the right of the L1, put his in-ear in the opposite ear and adjusted it until the sound from both sources was even in his head.
He said he'd never heard himself so well.
