Wow, thanks you guys! I guess saxhound's pic is of the SKB bag, which looks like a good option for taking on airplanes.

And guess what, I already own the On-Stage bag, as I've been using it for speaker stands!!! Silly me, I never even thought about fitting the bose speakers in it!

Oh well, I guess sometimes, what's right under our own noses, IS invisible........
I'll go try it out right now, thanks again.....

If this thread inspires you to order one of these mic bags, check the zipper length first. I have one that will not accomodate either of the L1 sections because of too short an opening..... Oldghm

Well, you and me both!!! I knew why I never thought to put them in there, it's too darn short! Makes sense, though, cause I have one speaker stand that won't fit in (all the way) either. Guess I'll have to make sure I order the long one....

Saxman7 et al,
I'll try to get those pics up here tomorrow to help with my descrition of the possible cause of the L1 no-output problem.

Here is a little instruction set to ensure that your lower L1 connection to the PS1 is in good condition. We've found that upside-down insertion on the L1 could cause the connector to become unseated. This condition could result in many of the issues discussed here. (BTW, we've inserted the lower L1 upside-down into the PS1 too!). Most of the time the connector can be repaired.

You may want to let this one load...

Thanks - although you folks have offered to send a replacement, I haven't had any of the problems recently so will keep track of it and check to see if its unseated. I'm going to hang on to it a bit longer to see if it all hasn't corrected itself.

Thanks!
