Hi
I normally use a Bose tonematch 1 with my Bose model II and 4 Sub's.

I have my keyboard connected to the T1 ( channel 4/5 )
I also have my microphone connected to T1 ( channel 2 )

From the T1 I use the effects for my mic.and are very happy with it.

My question is .

I want to sometimes connect to an external active PA equipment, and also get the effects from T1 over to the external active PA equipment.

I think I should use the Aux output on my T1, but it have only one output , and the external active PA is in stereo .

So therefor should I use a cable like this ?
(see attachment )
http://tilbehor.eskildsen.dk/s...2-stk-mono-jack.html ?

And will this work well for me ?

Hello Korg PA1,

Please do NOT use a cable like the one you have shown. This will probably not give you good results with an external PA.

The output of the T1® Aux output is MONO (balanced) so this cable could cause a problem. You could end up with two signals that are 180° out of phase with some significant cancellation at some frequencies.

Can you tell us the exact make and model of the external PA system and I will see if I can make a recommendation that should work. If you can provide a link to a user manual or the manufacturer's website for this PA, that would be very helpful.

Thank you.

PS - please note, the output through the Aux output does not include Reverb. If you need that then you must use the Master ¼ inch jack.

Hi

No I couldn't tell you the exact PA I'm gonna use, because I play different places and somewhere it would be smarter to plug in to the PA already set up in theese places, than use my own Bose L1's

Hi Korg PA1,

For connecting to an external PA I would take cables like this: Two kinds of connectors to accommodate common situations.

The ¼ inch jack Tip-Ring-Sleeve outputs of the T1® are mono, balanced which is ideal for connecting to professional house systems.

Does that help?
