hi bose family, need some help. i am playing an outdoor gig on the weekend, calling for beautiful hot &humid weather. i will be set up on a stage underneath a large tent. i have never used my bose outdoors before. is it safe or should i use my old FOH system ?? also, if i go with the FOH, can i patch my tonematch outputs to a powered mixer, individual channels and this mixer would be hooked up to the FOH speakers, will this damage my tonematch ??
any advice is very appreciated.
Hi Canadian Mike,
Yes, it's safe. Make sure that the electrical wiring is "safe". If you can pick up a AC line checker, that would be smart.
Something like this:

Also, make sure that the L1® is not anywhere where the cabling will get wet. It's not more susceptible to problems than anything else. I'm just suggesting that you take all reasonable precautions you would use at any time that you are using a powered appliance outdoors.
If you prefer your L1® to the old FOH system for things that you have been doing lately, then you will probably prefer to have your L1® for this outdoor show.
You can do this, and there should be now harm to the T1®. Just take the T1® Analog Master Output and run that to a ¼ inch jack input on the powered mixer.
Did that help?
