I have a Shure sm87a and I am using the patch dedicated for this mic. I also have K&K mini westerns running through a LR Baggs Venue DI with a Shure pg81 to get my Martins D-18 GE tones using the 80 hz highpass to help with low ends.

I must say running through my beloved Bose it sounds so natural. In fact, I have never heard an acoustic guitar with such natural tones coming through a PA system, never.

I also have an Olympus LS-10 that I record the duo with. I have it set about 4' away from the L1 about 3' feet high on a tripod for easy access. I have noticed a slight compression through the Bose L1 and also on the Olympus LS-10 recordings.

Now I realize I am recording to digital at 96hz/24 bit, clean clear sound but a bit of compression.

I would imagine this is due to the processing of the T1.

Maybe the mic is to close? The levels are set correctly on the LS to help keep the compression in check on the recordings.

Maybe it's to close?

My duo partner, who was very, very skeptical is now going to get his own, may the heavens part!

I was wondering is there any kick backs involved like a bose hat or t-shirt? LOL!

If not, where could I get some of these items? I would like to get one of each.

Thoughts would be much appreciated.

Thanks, from a true Bose lover and believer for life!
