What's the best means of sending the bass line out signal from my L1M2 to my Peavey CS4080HZ amp to power a pair of larger subs? I need to split the signal to take advantage of both A and B channels on the amp, but only have the single output, so I suppose a splitter is in order? And does this require TRS cabling, or will mono 1/4" cable work? Thanks! -Greg

Hi Greg, I don't think you need a splitter. See page 12 of the owner's manual http://www.peavey.com/assets/l...nuals/112596_156.pdf "Depressing the rear panel CONN.MODE select switch connects both input connectors together in parallel. This directs the same input signal to both channels ..." If you really want to use a splitter (and unless I have read the manual incorrectly, I wouldn't), be sure that all the connectors (all three of them) are tip-sleeve OR tip-ring-sleeve. Don't mix connector types because this will almost certainly put the two outputs 180° out of phase. ![]()

I'm an idiot...that's what I get for not RTFM. Thank you ST for that info. I tried it, and that's exactly what worked for me. Perfect! I hope you get paid for the support you provide. And if you don't, send the Bose powers-that-be this way and let me tell 'em how helpful you are in this forum. -Greg
