I just bought a Model II w/ Tonematch. Is there any instrument presets for banjo's? If not what preset would you suggest that is compatable for my banjo. I installed a Fishman pick-up in it so I don't have to mic it.

Hi Joe,
And welcome to the forums and the best of all possible sound. In my three experiences with banjo over the years, I have not used a preset. Banjo tends to be a very loud & percussive instrument. I mic'd it, but wound up only having to bring up the other strings to match it's level. It was loud enough on it's own, in both small and medium venues. For experimentation and amusement purposes, you could just scroll through the guitar presets and listen. Just to see what's possible. BTW, what's a "monkey call"? |

Thanks Pete!
I've been gigging out with a banjo for many years, and adding a pick-up to it has been the best soulution I've found so far. I've been impressed with the presets on the T1 and have been told there are alot more instrument presets out there. ...and Monkey Call is the name of our band. How we got the name is a long story. We have UPGRADED or sound system form Powered JBLs, to two L1's w/ B1 and two T1's. We are getting familiar with them, and hope to gig out with them next month. |
