Originally posted by krugjr: went to the local music store recently to check out inexpensive PA systems (getting back in the game).....small Peavy for about $1K.....they suggested I consider the Fishman solo, but didn't stock one to demo......so I researched Fishman and Bose kept coming up.....found this site and spent enough time here to make the decision to purchase the L1 model 1 with one base......I'll probably end up with the T1 and another base by spring, but I believe I have enough to practice this winter and get the chops up (mostly vocals).....setting up in med size family room....going to try to play solo with tracks (first time), James Taylor, Michael Buble styled singer.....like a CLEAN sound and I'm hoping Bose will deliver....still have my trusty SM80, a Samick fat body jazz for the blues and a Taylor 855ce for the accoustic stuff....haven't told the local store about my purchase yet (nobody in MT sells it) but hope to IMPRESS them soon!
If anyone can help: With the T1, can you use reverb and delay on one vocal channel? Will I delay my progress by practicing without the T1 and adding it later?
Thanks to all at this site who have educated me over the last month!
Thank you for joining the forum. Congratulations on getting your new L1® and more importantly - getting back into the game.

Yes, you can use reverb and delay on one vocal channel.
I don't think it will significantly delay your progress but if you KNOW that you will be getting a T1® later, and that you will be using in it in your live performance - then I encourage you to get it soon.
