I need help from the sound techs.
Our church is with the following dimensions :
27 x 68 feet. ( 500 + seats )
We are on stage which is 3.5 feet above the congregation.
We have had issues for ages with the sound in the church because its walls are mainly Stones and paint. This produces terrible feedback in the mid register.
We have put sum noise-reducers (pannels ) which has helped a bit, but the situation is the same volume-wise : if we increase the sound in the auditorium or the monitor volumes, the walls mirror the sound and it is a real mess in the mid register.
We have the following setup :
8 vocals, El. drums, 2 keyboards, 2 acoustics, a bass g. , electric g.
In our area we have no Bose retailer to check the system, and my question is :
How can the L1 help in our situation?
I see that the sound travels 180 degrees, how does it spring back from the wall?
Please can a sound tech reply to this topic so I can receive a valid help? I will answer your questions or send additional pics if needed!
Thank you for joining the forum.
I just noticed that you had not received a reply yet.
Can you confirm this part.
I do regularly do shows in a venue slightly larger than this, and our legal capacity (fire code) is 80 people. So I thought I should double check with you about the dimensions of your space.
Where are you?
Yes, it would be helpful if you could post pictures.
