I saw a post earlier that said that the PS1 is not matched to the L1, however, are the top and bottom pieces of the L1 matched to each other? Or can I mix my two L1s up - put the bottom from one and the top of the other one together?

Hi OneManBand,
Not an answer, but a small prayer... I hope it doesn't matter. If it does, I've been doing it wrong all this time, and I'm going to have to get a lot more detailed about labelling the pieces of the units and the bags. We've been working on the assumption that 'if it fits and it works, we got it right'. |

I tried to keep my two systems separate, but after gigs while packing up I notice that it hasn't been happening.
Fortunately, it doesn't seem to make any difference. |

I put some colored electrical tape on the back of my L-1's - yellow for left and red for right. The other guys in the band seem to "get it".

Not to worry. The L1 are build to very tight manufacturing tolerances, no matching required.
All upper L1s will play nicely with all lower L1s. Hope that helps Hilmar |
