Dear Alvarinhas,

Please wait until you get a reply here from someone at Bose.

No one who has written here in response to your questions speaks for for Bose. So please don't make a decision based on anything you have read here since your post last week.

Please give someone at Bose a chance to respond.

Thank you.

Thanks ST.

i'll wait for a BOSE response, but who is BOSE that will see this topic?

i called to bose Portugal and it seems that even they cant't get a explanation for this. the response was " Bose knows what it does and if the A1 has 250W at 4 ohms can push 2 bass bins that have 500W. they assume that B1 have a power handling of 250W rms instead of 125W given for the US catalog.
even more confused??? lol

Respectfully,
Dang, I wish I had those! If you're using 8-B1s, I would guess you are playing in a venue where you also have a huge PA to give you any and all power needed. That said, when we purchase equipment based on the spec, we assume the spec to be correct, that is unfortunate. Best of Luck A !

Hi Alvarinhas,

I am concerned about the mis information that was presented in the catalogue. This catalogue is not produced by Bose, this appears to be a distributor of our Pro Products.

The information contained in the responses in this thread contain accurate information:

US Model I

http://pro.bose.com/pdf/pro/tech_data/L1/td_l1_m1.pdf

US model II

http://pro.bose.com/pdf/pro/tech_data/L1/td_l1_m2.pdf

I will try to work with the appropriate contacts in Bose to make sure the distributor has the correct information.

I hope that you have the opportunity to test the system prior to ruling it out based on specs alone. It is true that with many of our products we only publish basic information to avoid confusing our customers, and we always encourage the customer to receive a demo prior to making there final decision.

I am sorry that you received innacurate information.

Sincerely
Neil
