Thought you folks might get a kick out of this picture I took in Chester Cathedral in the UK last week. Though not an L1 product (I own 4 myself), I thought the installer was very creative in painting the units (802's?) to match the stonework of this 15th century church.

Thanks for the picture. It's fun to think about all the places you can find Bose gear if you look. I'm sure that's not an 802. And it think that I have seen a Bose loudspeaker like that before, but I can identify the model number. |

Looks like an installed 402!! I'm sure it is nicely camouflaged.

The 402's came with at least 2 different speaker grills. the angular one in this picture, I think, is neccessary if one uses the handy carry case that holds a pair of these fine speakers.

The picture doesn't quite do enough justice to the skill of the installer. When you look at the pillars straight on, you could hardly see the speakers.
My shot had a bit more contrast than it should have. |
