Hi all -

I wanted to post a quick message to let everyone know of the affiliate program that Bose has launched with our third party partner, Performics.

I know many of you have websites, and a lot of you have been major proponents of the Personalized Amplification System(TM) family of products, and through this program, you can earn cash on sales you refer to Bose.com.

Simply click on this linkand follow the 4 easy steps to join and become an affiliate. There is no application fee to join and no minimum sales requirements. Just another way for us to say thanks for being great advocates of our new approach!

Best wishes for a happy holiday season!
Angela.

I filled out the application for this today, but I had a question I couldn't find an answer for on the Performics website.

If we link to Bose through this system, will Performics put any other advertising on our website? I would love to help you guys get the word out, especially since my wife is using this system almost exclusively for her concerts. However, I really don't want any random advertising on her website.

Let me know!
Thanks!

Guy -

You have full control over the links that Performics offers. Simply choose the link that best matches your website then copy and paste.

I just put a PAS link on my website and please take a look at it on my links page. With so many people asking us about the PAS it makes sense to join.

Sincerely,
David

Hi Guy -

Thanks for your post. To reiterate David's response, as a member of this affiliate program, you choose the ads that will appear on your site, and Performics cannot serve random ads through that space.

We appreciate and understand that your websites are an extension of your passion for performance, and we would not offer a program to our owners that in any way would compromise the integrity of that.

All the best,
Angela.

Am I missing something with this? After signing up, the only thing I could find with the Bose link was for Wave Radio/CD players. No offense, but I really only want to link an affiliate thing to the PAS system.

Cool! Thanks for sharing your site. Let us know what your customers say about the system as you do more gigs, won't you?

Thanks Jerry,
Steve

Angela-At-Bose:

Recenlty I have been directly responsible for selling two PAS Systems in Arizona and a friend of mine in Tennessee is in the process of purchasing two Double Bass units. The problem with the affiliation program is this: I invited both local friends to events I did locally. The first guy drove to Guitar City 120 miles away and purchased his PAS there, after hearing mine and talking to me. Just recently a friend I invited to hear the system was sold and when he went to my link to puchase the unit decided to call and get the 12 months interest free. So, I get nothing, even though I invite potential buyers, demo the unit, answer questions and pretty much sell the unit for BOSE. Then, once they decide to buy, BOSE has a better way to puchase it than my direct link, so I lose out. If a person calls and purchases a unit, why can't they just mention the name of the person that showed them the unit and who is directly responsible for them purchasing it and still give them the credit? It's to the point that I no longer want to do demos.

Hey Jerry,

Angela has taken on a new role in a different part of the company. I think I can help you though.

I'll send you a PM and we can get on the phone regarding the affiliate program. We're changing it around and will announce it here on the forum in a few weeks. But let's talk about the nearterm situation you have as well.

Steve

Thanks Steve,
I have replied to your PM. I appreciate your help and all you do here for the community! You are appreciated! I look forward to talking to you or another representative! I am also considering adding two Pack-lights with 4 more B1's to go with my two double bass systems! Think that will rock? You have seen pictures on the forum of my DJ set-up. See my pics here:
Hot Lites and BOSE!
I am planning to stack four B1's on each side next to my DJ booth and put the L1's to the outside. I think it will look AWESOME and sound GREAT too! When (if) I purchase them I will definately get some pics for the forum!
Thank you again!
