No plans.

How might this come together?

I also, again, urge you to consider a presence at the Dallas International Guitar Show - next one is April 2009 - your exposure would be incredible, literally 100,000 guitar players.

Hey Mike,

Maybe we could do an L1 Road Show stop to coincide with the guitar show? We're not really geared on this project for trade shows, but if you thought there was value in being in the same place at the same time, that might be cool.

Ken,

if this is of any help or interest: We'd be happy to play one presentation show or another in the Bavarian and/or Northern Austria area for free if BOSE plans such shows in the future. We have some big L1-selling shops around here: Music Shop in Munich, Rockshop in Augsburg, just to name a few. And we feed a lot of different sound signals into the L1 systems Smile

Kind regards,
Ralph

Hey Ken,

The Dallas show has a TON of performances. Three big full triple-system loud stages, plus an acoustic stage and a clinic stage. The loud band stages are sponsored and very set in their ways. But the acoustic and clinic stages would be very ripe ground for you. They've used JBL Eon type speakers, the sound is not very good. If you sponsored and equipped one or both of those - you could turn heads - LOTS of them.

As far as a separate event & venue the same weekend? All the traffic is at the Show, I don't know how that might be for you...

Best luck, I'd love to take part if I could help...

Mike

Hi Ralph,

You probably say my trip report from Austria/Bavaria.

We made so many friends. I'd really love the opportunity to return there.

Your offer to play is extraordinarily generous and will definitely help to create a critical mass.

John Nell has the right idea: Route66 road show in the Cobra. GHM, if you want to come you have to sit on the roll bar.

Hi Col. C @ B,
How about we tie the guitar to the rollbar and I'll tag along on the motorcycle. Smile

Hey, Ken,

I've had my head down & haven't had time to respond, but you know you're always welcome in Colordado!

Yeah baby. Guitar on the rollbar, the bike, the Cobra, route 66. I mean, you could write a tune about it...

Hi Ken,

I think this would be fantastic! If your east coast swing includes Central Florida (Daytona, Orlando, Tampa) I'd love to be there. Maybe Roy and Martha could make it down - they can crash at my place!

Bonjour from Montreal!

When I bought my L1 a few months ago, the dealer (Italmelodie) said he was selling L1's like hot cakes recently. I am certain we could whip up a crowd for such distinguished visitors!

With so many music festivals around town, there could be some way of showcasing this marvelous product. Once people hear it, they are hooked!

Keep on strumming,

JFd

Hi JFd

I totally love Montreal and Quebec. We are not far -- only about 5.5 hours drive. We could start there and move across and down.

Thank you for putting your city on the road tour map.

Not sure what the lastest news is on this front, but I'd love to partner with Open-Road-Matt to help out with something in Northern Virginia/DC area.
