All,

When we work out the computer update(hopefully early next week) the pricing will be for two items, the PS1/L1/Back Pack "kit" (around $75) and the B1 bag (around $25). You can mix and match all you'd like. Hang in there ... we're working on it.

Oh, one more thing, it will run for a limited time like 2~3 weeks. Thou snoozeth, thou looseth. Big Grin

What about charging EVERYONE the same price? If a new customer wants the new bags, he could pay the extra $X, otherwise be satisfied with old, yet functional style. Likewise, an old customer could CHOOSE whether or not to purchase, while not feeling like he/she is being left out of something great. That way, BOSE would not lose money by giving any away, and also would not leave it's loyal, albeit sensitive, customers by the wayside.
It's win-win.
And Folks-at-Bose, have confidence. You do not need a gimmick to sell your product. We are selling it for you.
Thanks for a great product.

Allen, it's a little late fot your idea. They've been giving away the bags since August first. 16 more days of getting the free bags with a new purchase.

It's never too late to correct a mistake.

Can I get a set or two of the old style since it looks like you are just trying to get rid of them? I like them, they work fine and I like the fact that they are black, they camoflage in my vehicle nicely. When they wear out, I'd like to keep things looking nice.

Am I lost here?
I registered my system in December (online). Still waiting for the B-1 bag. Have not heard anything, other than perhaps that I might need to re-register, although I now might need to call to acomplish this. Is this what is happening?
Now, I hear that there is a "New" bag system available. I have to search to find this out (even though I DID register, and BOSE IS sending me emails to me- just not about this. Perhaps Bose thinks that I have no intrest in PAS products). I also think that some customers are getting the "new" bag system because they bought their L-1/B-1 system at the right time. I bought the system (and it IS quite good) early on, Had a few folks by the house, and they stepped up and now have systems of their own. I don't think that you "owe" me anything for helping others, but I have the vague feeling that I might be falling behind. I am thinking that perhaps "the squeeky wheel gets the grease" is quite true.
I work in a business that has a HUGE internet site, and I (we) ship all over the world daily. Customer service is a difficult thing, is it not?
John
PS--- GREAT system. Just a few niggling little questions

Quick update-----
I should have been stronger in mentioning that You folks are GIVING away "Deluxe" bags, and I do not have the B-1 bag yet. In my work, we take care of EACH customer, one at a time, and we wound up with a reputation that is hard to beat ( there are times that we "loose a little, but we end up gaining a lot. A loyal customer IS the best product).

O.K.- I think that I am done now. I'll just go turn on my PAS and relax for awhile :-)

jazbo, sbg and anyone who has yet to receive their B1 bag,

It is absolutely our intention to take care of every one of our customers! Please remember that the regular black B1 Bags were added to the product line as a direct result of input from this message board. As such, we're trying our best to get them out as quickly as possible to customers whose systems didn't include them. Registration will work, but calling Product & Tech Support is the fastest way to get it done...

Hey there
I just bought a system at GC and each piece came with covers, but no fancy carry bags. The covers I got are all black, not black and white. And there are no wheels or handles on the powerstand cover. How do I get a set of these very cool covers?

keithm,
With the purchase of your system you should have been given a voucher for a set of deluxe bags from Guitar Center. Basically, you would fill out the voucher with the necessary info, serial#'s etc, and mail it into the address provided. This would generate an order for you to receive a set of deluxe bags. If you have any further questions about this please call 877-335-2673. Thanks,

Joe-At-Bose

Hey Guys-At-Bose:

I just ordered my PAS Saturday, Aug, 14, by phone and was informed that the new deluxe bags are already on back-order. Boy, you must be selling a lot of PAS's!

Any idea on the shipping time-frame for back-ordered deluxe bags?

Thanks,
Jester

I agree with Scanderson...I use a double system and am very happy with the PAS system overall, I am disapointed with the "covers" that BOSE sent me to use on the B1's that were not available when I purchased in March. They are not of similar quality compaired to the bags included with the L1 componants which is what I was expecting. Because I refuse to move equipment without protecting it in cases or bags, I have found an alternative and my BOSE B1 "covers" are still in the box they came in. I would have preferred BOSE to have sent me the deluxe bags for the B1's since I had to wait over 3 months to get them. I am only interested in the bags for my B1's and don't find the special offer attractive considering what I have experienced.

ThunderMaker-
We're sure sorry that you are not happy with the "standard" B1 bag. I want to clarify that there was never a B1 bag when we began selling this product.

The 3 month wait you experienced was partly the time it took to design, test, manufacture and ship the newly designed bag. That bag only came about because of the recommendations here.

The orignal notion was that the B1 is so durable that a cover was not needed. I agree that having a cover is important as it provides an extra layer of protection to prevent accidental scratching of the grille.

The only real differences between the standard B1 bag and the deluxe B1 bag is the color and a bottom. Some folks out there maybe prefer the standard bag over the deluxe. If you're not pleased with the standard, please advantage of our discount promotion for early customers. It's $27.27 for a deluxe B1 bag. Act quick if you interested, it's only good until the end of the month and then it's back at $74.99.

Steve and the at-Bose crew -

Just wanted to add a "thankyou" for making the deluxe bags available at a very reasonable price. First the B1 bags provided retro-actively and now this. Great customer service continues!

I just received my deluxe bags (the Bose/Guitar Center ones) in the mail on Friday. In the immortal words of Tony the tiger, Theyyyy'rrre Grrrrreat! - Especially the PS1 rolling cart. Very cool. Incidentally, I've used the system on a few gigs now - both with a trio, as a solo performer, and as a keyboard amp. Hats off to all of you at Bose. You've really done something great here. THanks, and keep up the good work!

cheers

Tom,

I'm really sorry to hear the bag ripped on you. Please call 877-335-2673 to get it replaced. There is a warrantee on the bags for defects and it sounds like that bag is defective.

Please send the defective bag back to us so we can evaluate the problem and give the factory feedback.

Sorry for the inconvenience,
Steve
