Sorry for the confusion dansgold,

We really "against" deleting any thread in the forum ... keepin it real is the goal. Perhaps this one should be deleted though because it's a bit confusing (annually).

I hope you'll give the system a try, Bose and Musician's Friend offer a 45 day trial period and GC offers a 30 day trial. Then you can decide for yourself if the system is right for you.

Oh, and we'll be here to help.

Steve

Steve...maybe I'm missing something...but...how do these bags differ from the ones that came out about a year ago??

Howdy Y'all. Just celebrated my first aniversary with the PAS. I DID get the upgraded bags with mine. Sorry to say that most of the neat little strappy things on them have come off. Stitching was really poor on the seam inserts and the least little strain caused them to pull out of the seams. Small problem, as everything else has been great. Our trio will soon have a PAS apiece. The guys have enjoyed "tripling up" on mine and can't wait until they get their own.

A happy Texas cowboy...

Rick,

I'm sorry to confuse things ... there is no difference in bags from a year ago to the ones we sell today EXCEPT in one way, see below:

BigPDougT,

Please give us a chance to make it right with the bags. We did have a crop of bags where the stitching was too close to the edge of the cloth and things came apart too easy. The manufacturer is standing behind their work and replacing the "out of spec" bags for us. If you call the tech support guys they can replace them for ya, no worries. They are at 877-335-2673.

We are out of Deluxe bags right now but a new batch will be ready for sale in mid-September so I recommend that you jump in the queue so that they come to you soon after they arrive in our distribution center.

Sorry for the inconvenience,
Steve

Here’s the skinny, for folks who buy a system between 8/1 and 8/31 the Deluxe Bags will be a gift from Bose. The bags PS1 bag features wheels and a handle, the L1 has a shoulder strap and the B1 bag is a “full wrap” bag. There is also a really nice back pack that we’ve designed just for musicians. We’ve had great response from those who have seen the bags behind closed doors so share the news.

For those of us with systems already, the bags will be offered on bose.com in the early part of the month (available to purchase) and at other locations in September. They will be sold for $199.99 for the PS1/L1/Back Pack kit and $74.99 for the B1 bag.

Aggg I just ordered my system through Musicians Friends. Are the systems sold through them included?
