Happy Anniversary to ST.

I know ST well enough to be certain that he will be upset with me for drawing what he considers to be "unnecessary attention" to the fact that he joined this community 4 years ago today.

But I can't even begin to calculate the number of hours over the past 4 years that he has devoted to this message board in his relentless and unselfish pursuit of helping others in need. His tireless work has literally touched thousands of people.

Sorry ST, but some things just need to be recognized. Besides, the greatest satisfaction in helping others is knowing that your efforts have been greatly appreciated. You're a good man.

I could congratulate ST, but it makes more sense to congratulate all the rest of us for having benefited from his contributions over the last 4 years.

Thanks ST!

Hi Everybody,

Wouldn't you know it? I'm basically off-line today but I managed to pop in and see this.

Thank you all for your kind thoughts. (You too Doug).

Two days ago was the anniversary of seeing THE Linemen (with Cliff-at-Bose on keyboards) playing live.

Yesterday was the anniversary of the day I purchased my first L1® (yup first thing the next morning).

Today is the anniversary of the day I joined the message board.

It has been a wonderful four years. And thanks to you all for being a part of the journey.

ST I well recall the day when I first tried to use my L1 Classic and the problems I was having. You kept me going on the straight and narrow without giving up on the sound. This community owes you a lot my friend. God bless...

Milestones in themselves only provide an opportunity for one to recognize or celebrate another.
Indeed this milestone needs to be recognized as special opportunity. The essence of who you are shines throughout the great service you provide to this community. ST, a true pillar of this community... Your selflessness deserves celebration.

Thank you ST

ST,
Thanks very much.
Four years is quite some time, even if "Active Words" gives you an extra 45 minutes or so per day.

Take care.

Hi ST,

I recall the "early days" when you wowed us with your hand written notes on screen shots snatched from various places around the internet.

Four years later you continue to come up with new ideas and methods to make this a better place, and share it all with the rest of us.

It's great to have someone to turn to who either already has, or knows how to find the answer.

Thanks,
O..

A contribution to music that if we only had the right instruments, you could see from outer space.

I can not imagine a world without this community and ST is the single biggest reason it exists in its present, extraordinary, form.

ST.

THANK YOU.

Hi Everybody,

Thank you again for casting you minds back over the times we have shared here.

For those who like numbers, I've updated some stats about what has changed in the last year in my Bose blog.

Today I had a gig with a new musical collaborator, a very talented jazz violinist. Wow.

On way home I was reflecting on new beginnings. I remembered that about four years ago I looked at that this elegant device and saw that it could extend my musical life as a performer by a decade.

Four years later, it is though that time has just begun.

ST,

Happy 4th year. Thanks for your incredible contribution to this site.

I have wondered many times at your ability to answer questions, and help folks with the L1.

Thanks and here's to many more years of information and help.

God Bless.
